Have been released for about six weeks now and have
been living out here for about four weeks. I have
been going to school regularly now and tomorrow
the exams are starting. –Went to cinema today +
saw a drama “The Trial of Mary Dugan.” Was quite
a good film. I usually go twice or thrice a week.
My Father worked as a waiter at the American
club for five days + was then discharged. Mother works
turban nets and girdles and I earned my first
money a few days ago ($1.20) by working one dozen
of buttons for a dressmaker + have another order
for six + one [strikethrough] from [/strikethrough] for two.
There are very many Americans on the island
now. I wish we were in America.
