Nov 23, 1944 10 o’clock, depart. 7:05 [?] Dec 1. We arrived in [?] God must be, and [?] Dec 2. We crossed the border, and the train is stopped for the entire day. Now we got something to eat: cooked carrot and margarine. We got no water. [?] We departed at 9:30 [?] they told us that we’ll be there within two hours. [?] we spend this time continuously without washing [cleaning] ourselves.

At dawn it was surrounded by [Hungarian] soldiers, and they took us to the Józsefváros railway station

Finally in the evening of Dec 3 we arrived in Bruck. After 2 hours of waiting all 450 of us were herded into an attic full of hay. At 8 in the evening good [?] there was no electricity, again we have not gotten anything to eat for the entire day, but we were exhausted after the 6-day trip, so we fell asleep without getting undressed. We did not wash [clean] ourselves since Monday, and our clothes and shoes did not get off us either.
