Truly, B. S. Curd.

P.S. I am well known in S.E. Mo. & especially in this county: & St Louis Mo & for my integrity and standing I refer you to L. C. Martin, a merchant of our town, that came to this town the same year (1869) that I did; & also Roy C. Leslie, Cashier of our Bank (Scott County Bk) who has known me all of his life.
