Save Joe Hill

Whereas Joe Hill a member of the working class
has been sentenced to be shot at Salt Lake City, Utah
on the flimsiest circumstantial evidence ever produced.
And,

Whereas' it has been shown conclusively by Judge
Hilton the man who argued this case before the Surpreme
Court of Utah that the evidence upon which conviction
was secured was utterly worthless and that Hill's activity
in the labor movement prejudiced his cause and was the
chief factor in his conviction.

Therefore' we the undersigned believed that Joe Hill
is an innocent man and should not be shot by the State of
Utah unless conclusive evidence can be produced showing
that he is guilty of murder. And we hereby petition the
Honorable William Spry Governor of Utah to save his life
until a more thoro investigation of this case can be made.
