To the Gov of Utah
Salt Lake City

Dear Sir. We desire to enter our pro-
test against the proposed early execu-
tion of Joe Hillstrom of your State.
From our View point his guilt is
a matter of great doubt and the
99 guilty had better escape punishment
than for one innocent to be executed
A word from you will stay the hand
of the executioner "Blessed are the
Merciful for they shall obtain mercy" said
Jesus We beg that you act favorably
in the name of Justice and in Hillstroms
behalf and you will have cause to re-
joice the remainder of your days.
