We the undersigned citizens of Falls County
Texas believing in the innocence of Joe Hill who is sentenced
to execution for a murder which we believe him to be innocent
of, most humbly petition your excellency for your most
gracious clemency to the end that a person of whose
gult there is so much doubt, shall not be put to death.
