Spring City, Feb. 26, 1881.

Council met in the Tilthing Office Feb 26, 1881. Mayor
Justeson presiding. Minutes of the former meeting
read and accepted. The Mayor reported that a mass
meeting was held Feb, 25 for the purpose of selecting
a head watermaster and sub, watermasters for Spring
City. And Louis Christiansen was selected
head watermaster.

Moved and carried that Louis Christiansen be
appointed head watermaster for Spring City for
the year 1881. The names of the Sub water masters;
as selected at the mass meeting above mentioned, were
read and approved by the Council. An Ordinance was
passed appointing Louis Christiansen head watermaster for Spring City
for 1881. A Bill of $20 was presented to John
Frautzen charges for service on the committee for
the revision of the Ordinance. Also a Bill of $60,
was presented by Jacob Johnson for assistance rendered
the Committee on the revision of the Ordinancies
The Bills were laid on the table, moved that the
Mayor get some Stationary and report a Bill of
the same, also that the amount of the lamp
and Oil be reported in the same bill carried.
