218 Spring City, April 25, 1885. Council met at the residence of John. L. Allred Mayor Christiansen presiding Roll called. Quorum present. Prayer by Councilor R. W.Allred. Minutes of former meeting read and accepted. S.E.Allred of the Judicial Committee stated that the com- mittee had procured an ordinance on revenue. The new ordinance on revenue was read. The resignation of William H.Allred as Assessor and collector was read and accepted It was moved, seconded, and carried that Hemming Hansen be appointed Assessor and collector for Spring City An ordinance was passed appointing Hemming Hansen Assessor and collector for Spring City. Council adjourned to Tuesday April 28th 1885. [unclear?] by Councilor Hans Larsen. Spring City, April 28 1885. City Council met in the tithing office. Mayor Christesen presiding. Roll called.
