Fri 19 Went to hear Dr. Park lecture & Bart Brebner. Dinne[?] at Prin. Wallace's with B.B. Delightful evening.
19 Girls & I to church. Harvey Fleming & his sister here for tea. Boys playing soldiers
19 Went to Y.W.C.A. to catalogue books at 10. Cold. Meeting at L.P. in evneing. Signed papers to buy [4/9?]2 Dunvegan Rd.
19 cleaned & mended. S.S. section of Press Club met here. Shopped at Village.

JANUARY 13
X 19 Luella & I went to movie "The Lady Vanishes" very good. I bought gold evening slippers. Cold. Played flinch. Harold out.
Sat. 19 In bed with intestinal flu. Very miserable. children got breakfast.
Mon. 19 Lunch & short story group at C.W.P.C. Meeting at L.P.C.I. in evening.
Tues. 19 Meeting at J.R.R. Took Hugh to get glasses straightened. He to cubs, Mary to Symphony.
19 Ironed. Blizzard. H. home for tea.

Sat. 19 Baked all morning. Played with the children. Donald ski-ing. several inches of snow.
Sun. 19 In bed all day. Rain. children all up. Feeling a little better. Read "Tess"
19 J.R.R. L & s' club & to C.W.P.C. tea, heard speaker on radio & children. Harold out. Colder.
19 Typed. Tea at Bladen's & to "War Emergencies" course at L.P. Luella & Eleanor came here for coffee
19 [Myurtis?] cleaned. Practiced & mended. H. home for tea. Reading "Lincoln - War Yrs."

Sun. 19 Mary went to church. Donald ski-ing. Harold & I & Hugh went to Luella's. Don played Wagner records.
Mon. 19 In bed all day. Wrote & read. Harold out all evening. Snowing.
Wed. 19 Snowing. Baked cookies & muffins. Went to weaving class with Dell. weaving in pattern.
Thurs. 19 Typed all morning. To Mrs. Brett's for tea. Luella & R. Underhill there. Harold out.
19 Mary's prize records came Baked bread. Played records. H. came home for tea. Girls at music lessons

19 Went downtown shopping Mr. McFarlane went over mss. wth me in evening.
19 Tues. Up most of day. Very cold. Hugh at Allen's party. Pasted clothes scrapbook.
19 Wrote & darned stockings. Harold out. Went to U.A. W.C. pictures on Roumania. Rain & icy walking.
19 Typed. Went shopping & to tea at Mrs. Rouillard's cold.
19 Shopped at Loblaw's. children skating. Baked & heard part of "Manon". H. here for tea.
