Little [sweerheart] mine

The most extraordinary
thing has just happned ... I have found Gold $150.00!!!
[Yes] found it & its all our own too!!!! I had so many
odds & ends of papers in my [?] box which I keep in
the cupboard in my office that I decided to take out the
box-tray effect which fills the bottom 1/3 of the box.
There are 3 [covered] compartments in this tray and out of
curiosity I opened them - knowing of course that [I were put]
[shelf them] - well in the middle compartment there was
a black folded Am Express chrque book just like the ones you
have & I thought thats [funny] my keeping the [cover] when
the contents must have been used long ago - but I opened
it and could hardly believe my eyes when I saw first
a $50.00 cheque & next a $100.00 cheque - date of Aug 1942!!
I now remember that when we got back from furlough I found
we were broke as usual & had to borrow our salary ahead and
I took these two cheques to put [away] for my insurance payment
which fell due in Dec - and forgot them!!! Can you imagine
