1964. Mon. To Ref. Library & worked all morning. Called up Lorraine. To Locke library. Reading "Anti-Intellectualism in U.S."

1965. Tues. Worked in Locke on Mining history. Anne Montagnes came in. Great power failure all over E. U.S. Wrote by candle.

1966. Wed. Moved to 7 bed ward - 303. Hugh came twice & bro't nightgown, robe, comb etc. Took blood 5 times, penicilin by needle. noise & confusion night & day.

1967. Thu. Cold but clear. Shopped, cleaned & baked pumpkin pie. Donald came & to Innis College dinner - Lil, Hughena & Sam there - very good time.

1968. Sat. Relig. Educ. Com. Lunch at Park Plaza. Pushing John inch by inch. Very cold & rainy. Hugh called up.
