incurred in collecting these Claims, and your sending an Agent to Geneva, I am perfectly willing to pay any proportion of expense, or will enter into an agrement to pay 25 pr Ct on all prospective claims collected. I cannot see what benefit an Agent will be in all Legitimate Claims, or what Proof it requires the Proof of Ownership in the Custom House the quantity of Oil & Bone was Sworn to before a Notary Public by Myself & Mate in New Bedford and I presume was sent to the Secretary of States, being so Informed by Mr. Whitwell. if you have any thing more to comunicate shall be glad to hear from you.
