I have known a number of instances of
young men's obtaining a licinse, upon the knowledge
obtained from the summer-Course alone, but
that only attest the deplorable [loosenen?] of their
examinations, and by no means proven that the
party is fitted to practise, as he certainly is not
by what he can acquire in a two month's course,

The summer-lectures are appointed to
begin 29' June (5th Thursday), and to continue
nine weeks, say to 29 Augt.

I am, very respectfully,
Your faith
John B. Minor.
