Dear Sir,
Policies 10320.1 Genl. Bray decd
I am in receipt of your letter
of the 9th instant and regret to here of
the death Genl. Bray. I send here
with instructions for proving the
death, together with the two forms
which are supplied by the Company.
the age has been admitted.
No Bonus attaches to the Policies,
as they were both effected on the
non participating scale.
With respect to title, I may

mention that policy No. 10320 was
issued in favour of Colonel E W
Scovell, and that on the 20th April 1876
we received notice that it had been
assigned by that gentleman to the
Life Assured; while in respect of
Policy No. 10321 we received notice
on the 18th October 1883 that it had
been assigned to Messrs Cox & Co.. As
the Policy was effected through our
Indian Branch. I have by todays
mail requested our Calcutta Manager
to inform me whether he has received
any further notices of her.
