Dear Mr. Vaisey,
We are taking 16 Kidbrook Grove Blackheath. I have seen the lease and am assured by one Agent Mr. Stiff - Devonshire Chambers 16 Bishopsgate St. Without that it is a usual lease. It is to the purpose of 7-14 or 21 years & I find we have to finish

5 yrs about, of the first from the present tenant 7 - the remaining 14 - I say nothing about as we are not likely to want it. Next time completes the present tenants 1st third when by the lease he would be obliged to outside paint & repairs &c. So we want you to do the necessary
part of endorsing & securing to us a favorable lease. My agent says the 3 yrs. painting is always put in & seldom enforced. I want to take possession on Saturday 29th (next.) I go to town again tomorrow by 8:40 train. Should you be going by that to London
