After [these Daughter?] are Complyed with, I shall apply from my Family goods, Else Where, For this Years Capt. [illegible] informe me, there Will be a ship in your interest ready to take of the New Crop for an Early Market by this intend you my Next Tob. I desire you'll immediately make insurance upon sixty that of Tob. in the ship fauquier, avarranted to vail with convay & to receive ten Pounds [pen?] clean, in case of [Lof?] I am gent

A few days ago I acknowledged the Riot of our late Favours by Capt H[illegible] & in Consequence thereof, wrote for Insurance by several opportunities upon sixty [thats?] of Tb. in the fauquier, to sail with Conway, I have carefully [overlool?] my deet currt. & find in it, an Error, which I hope you'll be immediately vensible of [illegible] the article of Insurance upon sixty hhds of Tob. by the Jacob & Joanna carried out L97.12.0 upon L600__ at [illegible], which Prem. of 6 Guineas, amounts to little more than forty pounds upon L600__ but gent, notwith Handling I wrote for Insurance upon [illegible] Quantity of Tob. ley the Hacob & Joanna unless my Letters for Insurance, geet safe to hand, before the arrival of the ship, I expect you will not charge me with insurance, I certainly wrote for Insurance uppon [illegible] Tob. & as well as I remember the ships I wrote by, were all taken, tho I may be mistaken, therefore, please to inclose me by the first Opportunity a copy of my Letter for Insurance upon [Clarkson?] which will satisfy one_ I would by no means accuse

40th Coroloman July 20: 1762

Sir, I have just now received [fount?] of the 20th April Covering an Acco. Curr. & Sales for my Tob. [illegible] [Worton?] in the first of which, you give me credit. For L22:13:10 the Nell Produce of Four Hhd. Tob. The Franny to which Sam not [illegible], For I dont Recollect shiping any Tob. To M Jordan & yourself except the above ten hhd. I have Frequently Desir'd That you would not put one to further expence for fruit Because I have not yet receiv'd a Lemon nor do expect to taste one of the two half chests now sent by cozine But I find my Letters have have mix carried, I have Also several times Acknowledged the Rec. of Part of my goods & then Neptune & their condition; those Hiffing are the Following articles, one chest of Lemons, [I for Parte Buckle, 2 Pairs shoes, their cost?] L9:13, which is more than five [illegible] Upon the amount of the invoice, so that I expect you will Recover that sum for me of the Under [illegible] the Other things to to hand in very good order and gave entire satisfaction _____ I hear with you successes in the Branch of [illegible] you have lately inter'd [illegible]

As I have not [vein?] Capt. [Boyc?] since I deliever'd Him orders for my Tob a which was soon after his arrival, I am not certain whether he has the full quantity Design'd for him, thus much, I [illegible] that forby have been always ready for his reception agreable with his own [illegible] if he has left out any part of them I must think, it ungeted treatment because he has never given me the least reason or information for so doing this consignment, [illegible] very [illegible] speak in praise of, as the whole of it, was shade under my Own Eye of the [illegible] [sweet?] scented well handled & neatly priced, such Tob. as I dare say, you will think [illegible] the Best Price, & from which I Must [illegible], my expectations are great. To Discharge a [illegible] seen purchase, I shall be oblige to draw upon you, for four or five Hundred Pounds, very soon, which I flatter myself, will be Punctually [illegible] as I shall fall considerably in you Debt, (the' I hope but for a short season) turn out
