Yours about the money is rcd all right—only I thought with the balance of salary there would be more—Did you put any of the salary with Mr Hill? Was the 700 Dolls the amt of deposit & itnerest for the 5 years?

Sorry to hear of Julias contin-ued illness—My health is quite good

Came in this morning from the front after a pretty hard time, as the transportation is now so far without Rail Rd, but leaving every thing, military & [moral?], [prospering?]—Will be at home as said before D.V. by the 20th
