YOU Who charmed me with her shimmering hair Her tender eyes and stately air, And made me wish that I might dare? Young you.

Who led me such an anxious dance By cool demeanor, quiet glance, That made me tremble for my chance? Wise you.

Who let me take her hand in mine And lay all bare my deep design. Who gave at last that one dear sign? Sweet you.

Who wedded me for "weal or woe" "Till death do part" in rine trousseau? And all the promises that go? Bride you.

Who walked those early years so fair With certain step and dainty air A loving wire_companion rare? Choice you

Who welcomed from the realms above God's messenger __our baby dove, And hallowed it with Mother love? Rarayou.

And when God took our little guest, Whose broken heart said "it is best," And laid it tenderly to rest? [illegible] you.

And then came storms and toil and care. I wandered and wandered there Seeking a foothold any where With you.

And through the'toils that came space Who cheers me with a smiling face And rests me with her patient grace? Kind You.

Who checks bad habits, mends my dress Who tends my morals more or less And nerves me up to usefulness? Good you.

Of late we walk 'neath smiling skies, And yet at times the tears will rise When absense long your courage tries True you.

I wonder if we're growing old,may be Yes measured by the years I see But you are always young to me Bright you.

We are not poor except in name For we are rich in love's dear flame, Our wealth makes other riches tame Nice you.

And so I'm hurring home tonight To sit with you in firelight And feelthe glow of glances bright From you
