since D. Alan Williams became incited, Steve Squire was guilty of "disorderly conduct."

Steve's sentence was a fine and six months in jail (the jail sentence to be suspended contingent on 12 months of "good behavior"). Small, perhaps, but that's all the Administration needs to be able to bar U.Va. Alumnus Steve Squire from the Grounds forever. And if the forces of goodness and light are not satisfied that Steve has been punished, they can always do what they did to Tom Doran: Charge him with perjury (a felony) for daring to testify in Municipal Court that he was innocent of a misdemeanor.

Having passed the sentence, the judge balanced back on his tail, stuffed his lawbook into his pouch, and hopped out of the courtroom.

Ballads will be made of this story, but that is not the point. The point is that Steve Squire's "government-guaranteed" freedom of speech was flushed down the toilet. That for speaking against this same government's genocidal war, he was grabbed, shoved, pulled and pushed. He was bullied. Assault and battery. The point is that next time, it could be you. YOUR friendly Administration's official could wring YOUR neck when you speak out. How are you going to feel about a bunch of people who say, "Aint that awful," but who do nothing to help you? Act now, that ye may be acted for, when your turn comes to be hit by the shit.

JUSTICE MURDERED IN CHARLOTTEVILLE

CHARLOTTESVILLE (UPI) -- Ms. American W.(ay) Justice was found dead in Charlottesville, Virginia, yesterday. Her badly bludgeoned body was discovered at about 5 p.m. in the city's municipal courtroom. A coroner's report released this morning stated Ms. Justice was also assaulted several times by her assailants.

However, a law enforcement spokesman told reporters this afternoon that the court had already determined that Ms. Justice's death was "a result of suicide, not murder." In addition, the spokesman said Ms. Justice would be charged post-humously with disorderly conduct.
