Camp at XXth Milestone Mar 26-27, 1909

From XVIII 10 min W of S. to one base in situ on shaft with base not inscribed and 4 shafts and several fragg built onto shafts found:

XVIIII 3 shafts inscribed, one of Pertinax with XIX & Iϴ and another with XVIIII & Iϴ.

XX After 11 min. W of S. to XX milestone beside sheepfold & camp 2 frags of shafts with bases one inscribed, also 1 shaft and several fragg. some built into sheepfold. No numerals.

XXI March 27 left camp going W. of S to XXIst milestone. 2 inscribed fragg. for 200 ft. S. of road. About 75 paces further S.E. were [four] shaft and base. Pertinax with XXI XXI and KA. and 2 fragg of Severus bearing XXI and KA. Here it was necessary to leave road and follow caravan toward Ḳosêr il-Ḥallabât.
