This place was another
disappointment. The ruins are of vast extent but
nothing of interest out of all its antiquities
remains. The beautiful [...] reported
by deVogüé has perished completely and
the church has also obsolutley disappeared.

The building of the great turkish barracks
doubtless accounts for the general ruin
of these and other buildings which were
quite intact when visited by DeVogüé.
