a Druse village, situated between 2 hills one to E. & one to W. Were
greeted by the Shêkh & took coffee in the Meḍâfeh. He seemed very
pleasant although he is the man who reports say recently swooped down
on a Christian village in the plain and stole a beautiful maiden.
