Sunday after preaching Conference opend to hear
experiences, when was recd. for baptism Betsey Craft
+ 5 black gave satisfactory evidence of the Lords goodness
to them, but having no permit from their owners
could not be recd for baptism, [illegible] had a happy time
Adjourned by thanks to almighty God +tc

Saturday before the 1st Lords day in June AD 1827
After preaching conference convened, by prayer then came
together in conference -- A door opened for new members

Agreed to take up references as in order --

1st The committee on brethern Dempsey + Bowers case called
+ reported full satisfaction had taken place, when the report
was received + committee discharged --

York a coloured brother was charged with theft when by
motion brethren Carter, Speller, + Dearn [?] were appointed to see
him + report at our next meet --

Orphy a coloured brother was charged with a number of
misdemeanors, that his conduct was such as for him to be
necessarily sold to Speculators, + being gone from us the question
was taken + he excluded --

Andrew a coloured brother was charged with misdemea
-nors, many other things for interrupting public worship
when brethren Duern [?] + Carter were requested to see him
+ report at our next --

Isaac a coloured brother charged for running away, when
brethren Britt + Gill were requested to see him + make enquiry
as to the same + report at our next --

Committee reported the account with the deacons, which
was received -- A balance due of $____

Agreed the Decorum be now read --
