My dear Sir

I have duly received the [?] of the
Home Fair [?] sent me and I
am very sorry I cannot send you
any thing for your department+. [Father's?]
departure with 6 of the assistants of the
Museum has left so much on my hands
that I am nearly two months behind
with the regular work of the Museum.
[There then for?] you will not be surprised
if I am not able to send you any
other news know much I might
wish to do so [considering?] circumstances
