Future investigations will doubtless
bring to light a much greater number of
species west of the Mip. and especially
west of the Rocky Mountains. The latter
region remains almost unexplored, so far
as the native grasses are concerned.

Botanists have brought home great
number of species from those distant regions
but, the grasses are very often neglected.
