Orbicula coelata, Hall, Pal. of N.Y. Vol. 1 p. 290 pl. 79 fig. 9.

Orbicular, small; apex excentric, depressed along the centre, subplicated near the margins; surface marked by fine concentric lines and minute elevated points, giving it the appearance of being covered by a poriferous coral. - by which it is readily distinguished.

Orbicula? crassa, Hall, Pal. of N.Y. Vol. 1 p 290 pl 79 fig. 8.

Ovate = orbicular, with the apex near the narrower extremity; apex obtuse; surface marked by strong concentric wrinkles, and fine radiating striae - These characters are presented in the cast.
