Frond membraneous, bipinnate or tripinnate; pinnules either irregularly cut, lobate, or pinnatifid & dichotomous, decurrent on the rachis; nerves pinnate, excurrent, solitary in each division.

Differs from H. Hildrethi by its very narrow & longer divisions: but may be only a variety.
