8 or 9 on the body whorl, prominent,
flattened laterally, & crossed by prominent
alternate striae, the larger ones rather
distant & elevated; columella with 3
plaits, rectilinear; base subumbilicated;
aperture nearly half the length of the
shell. H. 0.5
