Red Bank, the name of a place on the Neenah river, where there are a great number of ancient mounds on both sides of the river.

Red Cedar River. 170 miles long. A large branch of the Chippewa from the west having its principal source in [Lac Chetar] Long Lake and entering the Chippewa about [forty] 36 miles above its junction with the Mississippi. There are several lakes through which the river passes immediately below Lac Chetac-they are Weegroo, Sapin (or Balsom of Fir Lake), Red Cedar Lake and lastly Rice Lake about sixty miles from the source.
