Chappeau's Rapids, a small rapid in the Menomonee river the second from the mouth or Green Bay, at which white fish are caught in great abundance.

Chamber's Island- an island in Green Bay four miles long and two broad, containing a lake or pond about a mile in length.

Cheqoinegan (or Sand) Point, or La Pointe, a long point of land or cape in Lake Superior between Cheqoimegan and Montreal Bays, six miles west from the mouth of the Mauvaise river and opposite the La Pointe Island.

Cheqoimegan Bay- a bay in Lake Superior south of LaPointe island, ten or twelve miles deep.-
