Huglans creek in Grant County a tributary of the Platte from the east. It rises in town two, range one west, and enters the Platte about a mile above the mouth of French Creek.

Hustis rapids, a rapid on Rock river in Dodge county twelve miles below the great Winnebago marsh. The length of these rapids is three thousand five hundred feet, and the descent of the river in that distance is nearly seven feet.
