Kinneckinnie. In 1840 there were in this town as shown by the U.S. Census of that year 23 horses, 278 meat cattle, 20 sheep, and 553 hogs; in 1839 the crops raised were as follows, 1,253 bushels of wheat, 71 of barley, 485 of oats, 60 of buckwheat, 1,830 of Indian corn and 4881 of potatoes; the maple sugar amounted to 5308 pounds.

Keysville, a thriving village in Jefferson Co. two miles west of Aztalan. A water powe is improved here on the outlet of Rock Lake, on which there is a flouring mill and a saw mill.
