p. 777Taycheeda- a flourishing village at the head of L. Winnebago in Fond du Lac Co. [Typewritten extract on Taycheeda]. Taycheeda is a flourishing little village which has within a year or two sprung up at the southern extremity of the lakes, upon the Fond du Lac prairie. A well stocked mercantile establishment has been started here by an enterprising firm; at which the farmers of this district, we are informed, find a ready sale, at the current prices, for their produce, and are enabled to get their necessary supplies at fair rates.
