White Water Prairie, a prairie on the Whitewater river in Jefferson county.

Whitewood Lake, see Bois Blance, one one of the Lakes on the northern boundary of the Territory, between Cyprich & Lac la. Croix, fifteen miles in length.

Wigwas Lake, an expansion of Red Cedar river above Warport Lake.

Willowby river a branch of Black river from east, entering above Big run.

Willow river, a branch of the St. Croix from the east, entering the Lake near the mouth of the St. Croix.

Willow Springs- a post office in Iowa county eight miles south of Mineral Point on the west side of the Pekatonica. It has a store, a furnace, and several dwellings.

Wind Lake, a lake two miles [in diameter] long, 1 1/2 wide near the north west corner of Racine county through which the Muskego creek passes and carries its waters into the Peshtaka. 6 m 1/8 circumference
