Dear [Sir],
I duly receiv'd your letter of
the 16th [inst.], and have since received the twenty dol-
lars [per?] Mrs. Mathens. I will in a few days
select out and box up for now specimens answering
your wants as far as possible. I can supply all your
desiderata specially noted but [Sulphuret] of Bismuth.
But [there?] are others not specially noted which I can not
furnish. I will however do my best in you, [few?]
missing that the specimens will be fare more
than an equivalent for the many which I shall
[cendides?] rather in the light of a remuneration
for my time. [Four?] of the specimen I shall send
are worth 2$ each.
I should be glad to get any of the minerals you may
have to spare, but am not in want of the geological
specimens -
Yours Very Respectfully
F. Alges
