Dr. Sartwell of Penn Yan NY
informs me that you have furnished
the Smithsonian Institution with a catalogue
of the plants Wisconsin - I do not know
that it is a [rule?] with them to furnish authors
with copies of their contributions - But very
much, I wish to see your catalogue - If
you have a spare copy, do send it me - or,
loan me one, & I will return, it according
to order - I am about to furnish a list of
the plants of this section of country, for that
Institution - I have [searched?] closely, & I think
but five species can have escape my notice-
I have duplicates of many, & should take pleasure
in sending to you, such as you may want-
