Dear Sir,

The war in which Denmark has been involved,
has delayed for some time the continuance of the [Memories?] des
Antiquaries du Nord, but at length we are enabled to
resume the publication. The next part will contain several
articles in English relating to Scottish Antiquities. As soon
as it is ready, it will be forwarded to you as a Fellow

I send you previously a Report of our last meeting
and request you to communicate this report to the Editor
of the National Intelligencer in Washington, at the
same time transmitting you a duplicate of your diploma

In reiterating the expression of our satisfaction to
reckon you as an active fellow=laborer, I have the honor
