Several young people from your ward will receive the 1969 Richards Youth Foundation, Inc. Book Awards on March 23, 1969 at 3:30 p.m. at the Lapham Library, 642 W. North Avenue. These awards are administered by the Milwaukee Board of Realtors in cooperation with the Milwaukee Public Library.

The Library staff selected the award recipients as worthy of a collection of books for their personal library, because of a genuine interest in books and reading as evidenced by their use of the public library. We hope that this gift will encourage the children and their parents to establish a home library and to stimulate further use of the broad collection of the Milwaukee Public Library.
