1. 82-1906 an ordinance establishing a minority/women business enterprise program.*
2. 82-1048 resolution relative to the promotion of safety for blind citizens.*
3. 82-1187 resolution providing $150,000 for demolition of blighted and unrehabitable city
owned buildings.*
4. 82-171 an ordinance relating to the licensing of video centers.*
5. 82-2216 resolution supporting National Jobs for Peace proposal.*
6. 72-92-5Y resolution relating to the composition of the Citizens Advisory Committee and the
Neighborhood Advisory Councils.
7. Approval of the Federal 1983/84 jobs bill of $8.6 million that created more than 750 jobs.
8. Experimental one side of the street winter parking for targeted areas.
9. Awarding of the Milwaukee cable television franchise to Warner Amex. Construction of the
system has begun and the residents of the southern part of the district will be wired by 1984.
The residents in the northern half of the district will be wired by 1985.
