To the Hon.

The Senate & Assembly of the State of Wisconsin. The undersigned Citizens of the County of Marquette do most humbly request that the Board of Supervisions as it now exists shall be abolished so far as this County is concerned — and that the law as it existed previous to the present system shall be restored — We have tried the present system for several years and find it to be a nuisance - and a swindle, [illegible] the lax payers of this County. too great to be borne, by repealing the present system and restoring the original you will confer a great blessing on the Inhabitants of this County irrespective of party and your petitioners will [illegible] &cc.
