I am very glad you have got your petitions started. They are being circulated like wildfire through the West. Every state, county and town acts as it pleases, in reference to getting signatures of men. Getting the signatures of men has this advantage. There are more men, a great many more men willing to sign the petition that there are women. But the women became willing to sign when they see that the men are doing it.
