The following proceedings were had

Giles Sutterloh
Indictment for Larceny & Receiving
The Grand Jury returned
into Court a True bill
The Defendant pleads not guilty
The following jury was Sworn and Empaneled
to wit--A.G. Vestal, g F Johnson. James Griffin
A.S. Garner. John Bucknor J.M. Loy. J.R. Bright
J.Q. Poe, A G Marks. Alfred, Goodwin. Oliver Clarke.
and Wm S Gunter who for their verdict say they
find the defendant Giles Sutterloh guilty of
Larceny as charged in the bill of Indictment
Judgment of the Court that the defendant be impris
oned in the State Penitentiary for two years at
hard labour and that he be assigned under act
of Assembly to work on the Cape Fear and Yadkin
Valley Railway. January 19th 1880.
