PRESIDENT'S OFFICE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST. LATTER DAY SAINTS.

Salt Lake City, UT ^Nosato Wisconsin^ 25 Mar. 1891

P. O. BOX B.

Prest. Wilford Woodruff;

Dear Brother:

I wrote a letter to Bp. Jensen of Mantu yesterday. For several days I have not been able to stay in one place more than an hour at a time, because of the percecutions which have been heaped upon me, principally through the efforts of the Lutherian priests. They have mannaged to write to the people in many of the places I have visited. before I could get there, telling them that I was a liar and a deceiver and to beware of or I would be apt to do them an injury. All this was done to enrage the people against me, because I dared to hold meetings in my travels and tell them the truth.
