Requisition for stationary for my Lt Battery
and the Battalion under my Command. I
have not filled them up as I did not know
what you had on hand but would like to
have all I am allowed, also requisitions
for Qr Mr^s. Stores, the saddles, ^trees & stirrups
you will please forward as sson as possible
as it is impossible to obtain saddles complete.
You will also find enclosed receipts
for two saddle Trees which have been received.

I have the honor
to request that the Brig Gen^l Comd'g will
have the Brig Boy James Byrne of my
Light Battery released, he is only about
thirteen or forteen years of age and can
scarely be considered responsible for his
part in the affair of the 3rd inst. I have
