You will find here with enclosed Consolidated Morning report of Battalion Light Arillery under my Command at this place for the week ending Saturday Nov 12th 1864. And would most respectfully call your attention to my requisition for Saddle Blankets for use of Lt Batteries and request you will be kind enough to furnish me with them before the 20th inst. as the horses belonging to my Battery will be here by that time.

I have received an order from Hd Qrs for an election to be held in Wilke's Batty for Jr 2nd Lieut. I will have the same held on the 13th and inform you of the result immediately thereafter.

Sir I would respectfully State that Prvt George Lockman of my Lt Battery who has been confined in Milican Texas for the past two months under Sentence of Court Martial his time having expired on the sixth inst has not reported for duty so I wish you would be kind enough to give me some information about him or have him returned to his Company at your earliest Convenience as it is necessary I should have all of my men present in case of an emergency

You will please find Enclosed Special Order No 181. Ordering Pvt T. J. McDowell of my Company to report to this Command without delay this order I would have Enclosed some time since but being totally ignorant of the whereabout of Pvt McDowell until yesterday when I received an application from him requesting his Descriptive List and informing me he was Employed in the Q. M. Department in Millican having but five men for duty in my Battery It is absolutely necessary that all detailed men should be returned to It with out delay therefore I would respectfully request you will be kind Enough to have him returned to his Company immediately

You will please find Enclosed Receipts for Q M Stores also Special Requisition for ninety Four hats which I hope you will be able to fill as I have been informed by Lt Yates of Wilkes Battery that you had some on hand, and, I would respcly request you will be kind Enough to furnish them to my Company instead of Caps as they are much better and more comfortable every way
