I would respectfully state through you to the Col. Commanding that the tools turned over to Capt. Poor of Pyrons Regiment by my Qr Mr Sergt was afterwards turned over to a detachment from Bradfords Regt on the 15th inst. therefore I wish you would be kind enough to inform me the name of hte Comdr. of the detachment so I may be able to get the necessary information in regard to the things that have been lost as it is necessary this should be accounted for without farther delay
