We feel highly gratified at the reception
which our new venture has received
at the hands of the students and friends
of the college, and hope to make each suc-
ceeding number of "In Cap and Gown" better
than the last. (We believe that
this is the correct thing to say). If con-
tributions continue to "pour in" - we
quote the University Column - there
should be no difficulty in keeping up
the standard of the magazine.

We call attention to the fact
that, though the college has existed since
a yell has never been evolved.

We want something in which to express
our espirit-de-corps, and how [tha] that be
done better than in a college yell?
