up when least expected. Miss Woolverton, in
her anxiety to "play grab," overstepped the bound-
ary and caused a foul by a toe's length. Miss
Smith was allowed a couple of free throws but
gained nothing from either. After each fail-
ure we heard "Shoot it! Shoot!" or words to
that effect. Things were becoming serious, and
we were glad there was only a minute and
a half to end time. Unfortunately the score
was still 2 - 2. Even Mr. Snelgrove could not
conjure the ball to the University goal, and
when time was called the result was still
a tie.

This is the game of Basket-ball
