Arrived in St. Thomas-
& found our pullman
reservations We could not
retire until we had our
hand baggage examined at
Black Rock. So we made
ourselves comfy. That was
when I tried to write you
up to date-diary, and
made such a mess of it.
We arrived in Buffalo about
10 P.M. & Beattie & I went
in search of a telephone
booth. I phoned to Fort Erie
but Aunt Ruby & Uncle Russell
were out so I was talking
to Hilda. She was rather
surprised to hear me from there,
As soon as we left Buffalo
we tried to sleep- but I
couldn't. It was dreadful-
because I was so sleepy.
