and it was no easy matter
Maud was a brick, and I felt
very very sorry for Lester.
Mrs Roberts was still living at
7PM and I really didn't
expect to go on duty this a.m.
However I went, she was
completely comatosed
involuntary & incontinent -
and a fearful "death rattle".
All day like that, Maud & Lester
there until 3PM. Then Amy
came & the sister from
Mechanicsville. About 6o'clock
a ministers wife came to offer
prayer. It was almost too
much for me, I could have
wept buckets. I do hope I
won't have to go in the morning. It is
so terrible for her to life so long like
this - I am going to miss her and
the family tremendously. I really am tired.
